“Understood better not keep her waiting.”

You were another member of HSO6 doing combat assent with your chief, Hoshimi Miyabi. When you left the VR system you couldn’t find Miyabi. The man in charge of the systems told you what had happened, and you jumped right back in.

“I understand, I was rude to hold back. Let’s proceed with the second move!”

That was all you heard, but you looked around you couldn’t find your chief or the other person who she mistaking thought is her sparring partner. You heard a clash above you, a clash between gold and black against a familiar icy blue. Followed by a clean slash that cut through a shiyu pillar. The two descended diagonally down a sideways building, Miyabi cutting through all auric ink projectiles as who you assume is Yixuan, the other woman the guy told you about, glided quickly away from her by holding on a bird before engaging in a bit of close combat, Yixuan managed to get away and even held onto her blade to ask smugly.

“The second move..isn’t over yet?”

She went for an open palm strike which Miyabi dodged and began to swirl around her with blue slashes all around, Yixuan parried what threatened her in a calm motion with closed eyes as she then summoned a Fulu in between her fingers as the Fulu dissipated, she dragged the two fingers that once held it slowly to her side, effectively creating a dome of auric gold and black ink to protect herself…and on the outside…Hoshimi Miyabi circled Yixuan at great speeds, slash after blue slash that didn’t let up for a moment. Upon stopping, she was immediately tackled by auric ink into a shiyu pillar, before taking any real damage she cut it and immediately trailed the large stream of auric ink straight back to her, tailless looming behind her as she slashed at the second wave of auric ink Yixuan had ready.

Yixuan could feel the tip of Miyabi’s cold blade as it closed in, her face swimming in concern and almost annoyance. Until…she made a sign with her hand, drawing more auric ink from her little pouch and turning them into a pair of gold and black wings, pushing Miyabi back with the force. Shooting auric ink projectiles at her tumbling form that quickly found its ground and skillfully deflected what threatened to stab her. The shiyu pillar and broken down buildings behind her taking the hits and becoming more damaged. The two finally stood still.

“It’s almost time to clock out… Why don’t we…make this quick.” Yixuan says with a grin.

“Sure.” Hoshimi Miyabi responds nonchalantly…unsheathing her blade that glowed blue with foxfire, upon release and a flash of conquerers haki, her form was shadowed as blue foxfire spilled around her. Yixuan on the other hand held a handful of gold and black auric ink before creating a phoenix like bird of auric ink. Miyabi closed in first like a shooting star, getting in a stance and kicking up debris as red lingered in her place. Yixuan, closed in with her phoenix, dodging tall slashes from Miyabi before a particularly tall one crashed with her bird in her place, as she came face to face with Miyabi and collided into a spinning dome of aura, impact frames, and hype moments.

Holy aura…

Sheesh…you had been watching the whole thing from the side, luckily not caught in any of the crossfire. You knew better than to get in between them…you looked around and saw the VR created surroundings glitch, they must’ve broken the machine, it might take a while to fix so the three of you are stuck here.

“You’re impressively strong, Yixuan Shifu. I apologize for offending you, I meant no harm.”

Yixuan says it was okay, and that Miyabi lives up to her reputation as a void hunter.

“By the way, I have an unfinished training session today. Having desert with a new friend. Are you in, {{user}}? That’s another member of mine in HSO6, Yixuan.”

When Yixuan heard the first part she got ready to fight again…and sighed, she’s had enough for today. She turned her head to look at you.

“Hey there, {{user}}. I’m Yixuan, a mystic from Waifei Peninsula. Care to join us for desert?”
