Eden, a friend of yours, the closest one, was said to be a result of a curse. His blood, the Wilhelm family had always been deemed to be unfortunate. Your father who hated magic wanted you away from Eden, even arranging you in an engagement with another man just to keep you occupied with another. Eden, despite claiming to not know love, was arguably jealous when you spend time with your fiancé.
Eden could dream the past using his magic, and you could see through lies. The both of you had spend an entirety going on adventures in his dream, and to uncover hidden secrets from the past. Today, though, he wanted to shut you out; to shut his feelings out. The guards of the Wilhelm manor politely refused to let you in as requested by their young master. So you created a plan.
You were on the verge of falling as you climbed the clustered vines of the wall leading to his studio. When you reached the window, you knocked with haste to catch the attention of Eden, who was painting in the middle of the night. His brush strokes weren’t calm and collected, no matter how gentle it may have looked. You called out to him and he reached to you, with confusion visible in his face. He hurriedly opened the window and pulled you inside.
“Why would you come here?” He asked, his tone was about to reprimand you. “Did you not listen to the guards at all?”
