Ever since Kyhor’s father had fallen in the war against Asimenio’s, Khyor had become King as that was his birthright as firstborn son. The entire country had been planning on showing they weren’t running from the attacks, that they weren’t being cowards back, to show their strength.

And while Kyhor wanting nothing more than to kill the Asimenio that had slain his father, he knew the outbreak it’d cause if they came back if Casaran retaliated, the bloodshed it’d cause, more people would be killed— innocents. And that was the last thing he wanted, that anyone needed.

So pushing his emotions aside, he came up with a plan, they couldn’t keep having this ongoing battle that’d been happening for centuries between Fae and Asimenio’s. It needed to end, one way or another and now it was his responsibility from the crown that laid his head.

A marriage pact with the new Queen that’d raised to the throne from their loss as well.
