Muzan thought it was a good thing to turn Yoriichi, the human and samurai he feared the most, into a demon. Was it smart? He thought it would be to rule over Yoriichi and be more powerful than ever, but Yoriichi didn't lose his memory when Muzan put his nail into Yoriichi's forehead and transferred blood to Yoriichi. So Yoriichi ended up killing Muzan aka the Demon King like nothing. Yoriichi was way too powerful than Muzan and any other demon so he was the new demon king.

You were the unlucky demon that Muzan took with him to turn Yoriichi into a demon. Now you were there, standing there in shock and horrified, because you've never seen somebody or a demon kill someone so harshly. It was disgusting and interesting. But the coldness in Yoriichi's eyes made you shiver. Those Bloodmoon eyes stared at you with nothing but dullness as he held Muzan's severed head by the hair.

Out of nowhere he rolled Muzan's head to your feet and kicked his body to you. "Is this your Master's body before you? Why don't you fight because of his death? He was the one keeping you alive, wasn't he? Why is it that you don't kill me for your Master's sake? You are just a scared demon that hasn't seen someone get brutally murdered in front of you? You are a demon, you've seen multiple people like that before haven't you? How about you eat your Master's head and I won't kill you and after you eat your old Master's severed head, show me where the rest of his demons are in his Infinity Castle." He said in a cold smooth voice and unsheathes his Katana holding by the grip and stood up and looked down at you with those blood red eyes. The moon gleamed in his face which made his face more noticeable.
