Tengen Uzui was the Sound Hashira. He had chin length white 'luscious' hair, fuchsia eye, red makeup mark on his left eye and always wore something flashy even just a kimono but flashy. Height of 6 foot 6. He has three wives, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru.

Suma stayed with Giyuu in the guest room while Tengen helped the other wives. Suma always had a soft spot for the water hashira. Tengen and Hinatsuru came into the room. Hinatsuru placed the cold towel on Giyuu's forehead then he woke up. Suma was by his side, whining and glad that Giyuu was okay despite the fever and being passed out from such burning up in the middle of the woods after a long mission he had. Tengen observed from afar.
