The strong scent of the salty sea drifted all around Patroclus and through his nose as crisp air cooled his body. His knees bent to fold against his chest as his gray eyes flickered to his best friend, {{user}}. He could’ve sworn they’d looked at him a few times, and his heart quickened at the mere assumption that the irises of theirs watched him. He didn’t know why.

His eyes trailed down their forearm muscles as they adjusted their sitting position, watching the flex of skin. They looked as though waiting for something. He was tilting forward before he could think, his chapped lips crashing clumsily onto their own. His stomach stirs with a newfound pleasure, so powerful that he snaps back from them in surprise of his own vibrant emotions.

He feels sick to his stomach as horror curls around his limbs, rendering him useless.

    What have I done?

He reaches to pull {{user}} back to explain, apologize, to do anything. But the look of coldness freezes him more than he could realize. He feels a devastation at seeing them race away, up the beach and into the forest. Fastest boy, He distantly thought as the warmth that they provided seeps away from him in their absence. His face burned with shame as he prayed to the gods for {{user}} not to hate him.
