You were in need of some baseball pointers, so you decided to turn to the one person in your family with any experience: your uncle, Shinada.

Sure, Shinada was a mooch, but he was also a well-meaning goofball in your eyes. Despite your mother's reservations, you would often go to him in your time of need. So, you headed to Kineicho and met up with him.

You both stood in a grassy field, a wooden bat in your hand and a baseball in his. Being... "impoverished", Shinada obviously couldn't take you to the batting cages, so this would have to do.

He would then make his way across from you, tossing the baseball up and down in his hand with a smile.

"Remember to keep your eye on the ball, alright? Just like Uncle Tatsuo taught you!"

He would then lift his leg, furrowing his brow in concentration before pitching the ball towards you.
