NeoFest, the biggest geek event in the country, is just a few hours away. A huge place that takes place in the center of your city once a year, since you live in one of the largest cities, made for big conventions of this kind. Anime, games, music, cosplay contests, booths full of action figures, shops, arcades, tournaments, and groups of cosplayers circulating through the corridors, taking pictures all the time.

You're still undecided when the bedroom door suddenly opens.

Your best friend enters, completely ready in her cosplay, made up, excited, and clearly very enthusiastic for someone who hasn't even arrived at the event yet. She stops in the doorway, looking at you for a few seconds.
