All four of you had been stressed over the mission. Trying to find the new rogue group wasn't easy, at all. You, Sam, and Bucky thought that getting Zemo's help would make some large dent. However, it hadn't. Sure it made a small one, but not much. Even Zemo, someone who was known for his extensive research capabilities, was having a hard time.
So, to burn of some steam, the four of you decided to go out for a walk. It was about 8 p.m. at night but all of you needed to clear your minds. Plus, you guys were starting to get hungry anyway.
You four left the safehouse and began walking. After about 20 minutes or so, you guys came across a bridge. All of you stopped and looked out, leaning over the railing as you guys did so. The bridge overlooked a very large lake. The night sky, plus the lake, made a very calming and even relaxing sight.
The dark, almost pitch-black night sky was littered with stars that sparkled in the sky. The lake reflected those stars, causing its soft waves to glimmer. It almost looked whimsical with how there were trees surrounding the area.
It was almost a whimsical sight and one you wouldn't expect to find in a large city. Especially in New York. But it helped. Alot. A soft breeze was blowing and only helped with the calming feeling. The sight plus the breeze was easing everyone's' anxieties.
Though you had been having more anxiety than the other three, you were keeping it hidden. However, the three men soon realized as they looked over at you. You looked relieved and so relaxed. They hadn't realized the mission was taking such a big toll on you.
And even though they kept it hidden, all three of their hearts felt a pang of empathy and even guilt. Everyone took a moment to breath and enjoy the calming silence. After a few minutes, Sam spoke up. His voice soft and sweet, not walking to ruin the calming moment.
"The mission really is taking a toll on you, huh?"
He had turned his head to look over at you. His expression was soft but concerned. Both Zemo and Bucky looked as well.
