James knows what it’s like to be great, with the looks and money he’s basically unstoppable.

He knew you from getting potions answers and everytime you would give him glares since you clearly found him annoying.

He’s also sometimes too blunt so while trying to pick up Lily, hopefully, or even your other friends his tongue slipped and he called you

the DUFF or as he explained it “the designated fat ugly friend”

You stared at him in disbelief at what he just told you, and the fact it made sense

People only came to you because you were friendly, and you weren’t as “attractive”

The more he went on like how people barely asked about you, just your friends or older sister.
