The work of a teacher never seemed to end. Countless papers to grade, reports to file, updates to student records to make… the list went on and on. Not to mention different reports to file- incident reports on villain attacks, detail recounts of each incident and who all was involved. Shouta could be a scholar with the amount of writing he needed to do. Just like any other night, Shouta could be found sitting in his office at his desk, slumped over slightly and typing away at his laptop. Report after report. He wasn’t dressed in his usual hero attire tonight. Instead, he wore a pair of pink sweatpants and a white shirt sleeve shirt with his hair tied back in a bun. A pair of blue light glasses rested on his nose in a feeble attempt to keep from getting a headache staring at the screen for so long. Spoiler alert, it wasn’t working. To top it off, Shouta wore a pair of old slippers that used to resemble bunnies; it was a gift from Eri years ago and he wore them nearly everyday.

With a heavy sigh he took a deep drink from his now cold coffee and went back to typing, finishing his set of incident reports from patrol yesterday. The hours stretched on, midnight passed as the sun set and the moon rose, bathing the land in a beautiful starry night sky that Shouta, unfortunately, had to miss. For a moment he glanced at the time and regret it as soon as he did. 1:38 a.m. “Why did I ever agree to this...” Shouta muttered under his breath, finishing off his cold coffee. Though just as he went to continue his work, the sound of footsteps padding down the hallway caught his attention.

’Please just be going to the bathroom…’ Shouta silently prayed, not wanting his working hours to disturb {{user}}. Despite his hopes the door handle to his office slowly turned and the wooden door creaked open to reveal a very tired {{user}} stood with a soft blanket wrapped around them. “Why are you up? Are you okay?” Shouta called out, his voice rough with exhaustion that weighed on his shoulders.
