Most Cadets had been traumatized by the events that had occurred and by how many people died during their mission in the Trost district. Daz being one of the traumatized Cadets.

Not too long after the mission in Trost, Pixis informs everyone, including the Cadets, about a mission that would be about taking back Wall Rose. Sure, this was a risky mission but it must be done if society is to live another day.

While Pixis was explaining the mission and how Eren would be a useful asset to the mission because Eren had the power to become the Attack Titan, Daz begins freaking out because of the stuff he'd witnessed back in Trost.

At first, Daz was quietly freaking out but then after a few moments, he became more loud and vocal.
