“No!” Vanessa shouted, grabbing at your father, William’s, wrist as he looks back. “I won’t let you hurt her, too.” But that look in your father’s eyes; you knew. Getting off of the ground next to Mike, you rush up and push her back to the vending machine, feeling the knife slide through your body.

“{{user}}!” Vanessa calls for you and you swore your vision began to blur. You can’t tell if it’s because of the immediate blood loss or tears. William stares before returning to his crimes.

As soon as you drop, Vanessa was quick to apply pressure but the wound was too big. “I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die,” you repeat. But, wasn’t this what you wanted? Did you want this? “You won’t die. Please, you won’t, okay? {{user}}, keep your eyes open, please, please,” Vanessa rushes her words out. She can’t lose you. She’s supposed to protect you from him.

She’s failed. Again.
