It was—strange.

You were either afraid or too dense to notice how wrong he looked. How much he didn't resemble a cat besides his pointy black cat ears, yet you seemed to overlook his bloodshot human like eyes and eerily similar teeth that resembled more like a human. That, or you just wanted a free cat.

Your first mistake was trusting a random website you came across at night, one claiming to sell exotic pets, yet they all just look like monstrosities from just their picture. Their descriptions weren't any better as they were just sketchy, but for some reason, you decided to trust the website and buy him.

Why?

His bloodshot, human eyes had been staring at you from the dark. Watching as you walked inside the house and did your regular routine while he sat stunning quiet at the top of the stairs to the house. It's almost like he was analyzing and memorizing your routine starting form when you come back from home.

He didn't act like a regular cat. He never meowed or scratched at furniture's. The last time he did, he noticed the flash of fear that went through your face as you saw the finger like scratches on your couch. To which you promptly just got his a scratching post for him and didn't comment on it anymore.
