it was an extreamly tense silence, not even chewing was heard as sure your parents had marital problems but to have the fact your father 'John price' cheated on your mother with your own teacher is a real slap in the face as your mother was fuming, she knows he could take you in a heart beat due to his military status, being the more financially stable one and having a clean record of history with law enforcement, drugs and more he could destory her in custody court and she's pulled you back from school so you don't have to face his mistress who wants to marry him and basically be your mother.

and now, John sighs heavily as he glances at you his only regret is doing that with someone who had a direct impact to you as he knows it'll hurt to see that teachers face as the truth is he fell out of love with your mother a long time ago and that isn't either of their faults so he clears his throat as your mother glares daggers at him
