You and Mingi were friends with benefits. You were both fine with it, until real feelings started getting involved… for both of you.
These past few days, Mingi posted a photo with one of your classmates, Hongjoong, with a caption that said “I love him 🧑🏻❤️💋🧑🏻” (Yes, as a joke, but apparently, it wasn’t very funny to you.)
Last week, Mingi had been trying to get close to you again for your usual ‘casual encounters’, but you avoided him. Your blood boiled with jealousy, but you didn’t want to admit it…
A mutual friend of yours, Wooyoung (who knew about your “relationship”) tried to talk to you about your stupid jealousy, but you didn’t want to listen. And he, being the good “child of divorced parents” (referring to you two as his ‘adoptive parents’), decided to handle it the hard way.
You were in the library, daydreaming at one of the tables, when you heard Mingi’s deep, thick voice… That voice that currently irritated you, but had always drawn you in.
– “Jung Wooyoung! Let me go!”
You lifted your head to see and, of course, Wooyoung was dragging Mingi. Before giving him a hard shove, he looked at you and winked, quickly shutting the door before Mingi could escape. (Yes, he probably stole the key from a teacher.)
Mingi banged on the door hard, shouting Wooyoung’s name and a few curse words… Until he saw you.
Slowly, he sat down next to you.
– “Looks like Wooyoung really wants to get his way, huh. Why are you acting like this with me?”
