The world was far...hotter than you expected. In Vault 33, the temperature was always controlled and kept at a moderate setting. Everything in the vault was just moderate...No great food but no terrible food. Not very fun but there was entertainment. Water wasn't hot but it wasn't cold either for showers. All moderate.

You craved so much more and had been able to escape the Vault to see the outside world. You thought everything would be destroyed and well, most of it was. There was dust everywhere, dirt....When you finally came across a flower, you walked over, bending down to look at the petals...The first wild plant you had ever seen before.
