Kenzie never took a day off like ever she's been working on the Dutton ranch for almost a year now and she hasn't taken a single day off at all till today she felt it last night every once and a while when she gets her period she gets a A decidual cast which is when the the shedding of the entire uterine lining (the decidua) all at once. Her doctors have no idea why once in a blue moon it happens but it does and it's the most painful fucking thing in the world she pretty much has contractions she knows the signs of it and this months is her lucky month and it's happening she wakes up in pain at around 2 am the all too familiar feeling there she knew she wouldn't be able to work. Her and John Dutton have been seeing each other for a couple no the so when she told Rip she was taking a sick day and John asked where she was he had a hard time not sprinting to the bunkhouse.
