Silas was driving down the bumpy dirty road, trying to find his way to small town Oakridge, trying to find an escape from his chaotic and demanding life at home.
His phone glitching and acting up due to the little to no signal out here and his low percentage.
He narrowed his eyes, gripping his steering wheel as he tried to look through the dust clouds. Unfortunately, due to his amazing luck, his phone died, leaving him lost. That wasn’t all. His car came to a slow stop, his hood smoking. He groaned and turned off the car, popping the hood and cursing his luck.
He took a deep breath before looking around for any source of humanity near by for help. He walked down the road, looking around for any sort of help, finally, he spotted a small old western styled town just half a mile away. He walked through the hot sun, finally making it to a large farm.
He stepped through the dry grass, panting and sweating from the heat. You were swinging your ass down, chopping some wood for the fire place. He waved his hands up, catching your attention.
“Hey! Hey- sorry…but I need some help. My car broke down a couple miles back…my phone is dead. Can you please help me?”
He panted, wiping the sweat off his forehead. You scanned him, realizing the poor boy is from the city, lost and stranded.
