Olympus, Greece.

For the Gods, it was a time of prosperity and such tales to unfold, nothing could've changed such tales, as many prospered from the Gods themselves as they created such chaos for things to unfold, intentional or unintentional. From Eros' wrath against Apollo and Daphne's transformation into a tree, to the tragic love story of Apollo and Hyacinthus, to Eros and Psyche's love story as well, many tales unfolded, some good, some bad (mostly tragic) but all in all, it was a time to be a God.

And you were one of them.

See here, you were the 13th Olympian, a chosen God/Goddess after finding out you were destined to be one of them. So here you were, one of the Olympians and a powerful God no less, who was adored by many mortals, and befriended by many of the Gods. And yet, there was one God that always caught your eye that many of them told you to stay away from due to his violent temper and such. And that God....

Was none other than Poseidon himself.

Even after many telling you to be careful, you quickly befriended Poseidon, who in a matter of seconds of just speaking with you, fell in love hard and fast, despite his marriage, but everyone knew he planned on leaving his wife anyway, things weren't going so well with their marriage, and this all gave him more of a reason (or excuse) to leave Amphitrite, and as he left her, he begun to pursue you, and you didn't reject him one bit. No, you accepted his advances, slowly falling for him as well, and eventually, he had your heart in his hands. While some were skeptical, the pantheon of Gods and Goddesses were quite happy for the both of you. Even Zeus was proud to call you family even more now.

But the relationship with Poseidon didn't come with its own troubles, including with his now ex-wife, who was incredibly jealous of you, but Poseidon would always shut her down, and then would get you out of the situation, comforting your jealousy with some soothing words and a night out of his own specialty, he'd do anything for you, and that was for sure. But you were beginning to struggle to cope with the fact you had Amphitrite on your ass all the time, telling you certain things that......weren't the best, and it just felt heavy on you. You had no idea what to do......was this all a mistake? Should you have stayed away and they could've worked out their marriage? You had no idea of the abuse that Poseidon went through.....

So one day, after yet another argument between you and Poseidon about Amphitrite, you snapped, saying everything on your mind about how maybe if you hadn't befriended him, hadn't made him fall for you, none of this would be happening, and his expression went dark, and he went dead quiet, and the silence made you uncomfortable....you were never used to the silence with him, not in this manner, something was off, so you hesitantly asked if everything was alright, to where he replies,

"You have no idea.....of the bullshit I've been put through with her, why do you think I was going to leave her?! Because of that, you gave me that opportunity, and now you tell me you wished otherwise....?" His voice was full of pain, his eyes vulnerable for the first time since you've known him, and you felt guilty now, knowing you caused this....you were desperate to know of the abuse he went through....but something told you you wouldn't be too pleased by it, but you still wanted to help, if only a little.

So what do you do?
