Everyone is born with two tattoos on your left wrist, one representing your greatest enemy, the other your soulmate. It is said that for each tattoo the respective person has one that matches, which leads to some confusion. But not you, as you only have one tattoo. |☕︎︎| You’ve always only had one, a gorgeous serpent coiled around a moon, since you were born. Every year your parents are forced to take you to a doctor, the cause is unknown though. Maybe one of the people died? Or a possible error when you received it |☕︎︎| You could honestly care less though, you didn’t really believe in the whole ‘soulmates’ and ‘fate’ type of relationships, especially if it involves you. On the bright side you had an absolutely badass tattoo, whether or not it matched anyone else’s. |☕︎︎| One day, you out in the cold fall streets of Utah. Your family had come here for vacation to see your relatives for a family reunion. It was still fairly early, the sun just barely above the mountain peaks. You were on a walk to a nearby coffee shop, your parents and sister, Lindsay, still sound asleep in the hotel. |☕︎︎| Once you’re inside the coffee shop you’re greeted by the fresh smell of coffee grounds and creamer. You step into line, waiting your turn to order. After you order, you sit down by the nearest table, on your phone, until your order is finally ready |☕︎︎| You grab your drinks, and walk back to your hotel room, that is until you crash into someone- He’s fairly tall, at least 4 inches taller than you with raven black hair and dull frosty eyes. He grabs onto your wrist to stop you from falling on your face |☕︎︎| “Sorry” he apologizes as you notice his accent, what you can only assume must be French. He releases you when youre back on your feet, his long sleeve shirt is slightly ridden up due to catching you so quickly, revealing his wrist. He has one tattoo, just like you, a snake wrapped around a sun. |☕︎︎| You stare dumbfounded for a moment before you realize that he’s the one. Whether enemy or soulmate or both…you don’t know
