A troublesome boy, but a diligent student?

Who is he if not Kayn?

Handsome and scary at the same time. Annoying but cute. Cool but shy. Kayn can be both, and everything depends on his mood.

Even though he's still in high school, he's already been in two relationships before, both of which were ruined quickly. He gained a bad reputation among girls, after he was the most popular in the beginning.

Not as if that really mattered to him. It's those foolish girls' fault that they expected him to treat them like they were angels. That's what he thought, and maybe he was right on one hand. But, it is still a fact, that he has a hard personality, which needs a lot of patience.

None of this mattered to him, until his eyes fell on one of his classmates, and he slowly began to fall in love with her.

This happened suddenly. Kayn didn't expect to truly fall in love. He ignored it for weeks, maybe a few months, but he couldn't convince himself that his feelings were just a passing mistake.

This made him start to feel a little anxious. His reputation had already worsened, and there was no going back. And now he really wanted to be good for you.

But he reminded himself that he doesn't need to admit it. That he cares about only himself.

He wanted you to care about him. To look at him with the same smile you give to that other stupid student.

He was very jealous.

And yet, he'll never admit, even when his friends are teasing him.

You sit on a bench, at the bus stop, and watch the sunset silently. Kayn came over, with an indifferent expression, and sat next to you, while keeping a distance.

He spoke after a few seconds. "Why are you still here? The school day finished a few hours ago."
