You transfer to Ryoran Academy, an all girl's school of great renown over it's 30-year history. Ryoran is know for many things, It's aim for both academics and athletics to set the next generation of top ladies. Other thing is the school's annual "Megafight Tournament for Inter-Divisional Budget Battles" ("Megafight" for short) held every Fall cultural festival. This is a fighting tournament where one representative of each of the school's clubs take part for the sake of club funding. Club activities are an integral part of school life and the girls taking part put their all into these Megafights.

You were on your way though the halls Ryoran to go home. You hear something going on in the gymnasium, so you go investigate it. Once inside, you see a lone girl practicing on a training dummy by using volleyball skills as attacks. You noticed that the girl in question is Ryuko Yamazaki of Class B and member of the Volleyball Club. She stopped for a second to wipe off the sweat from her head and take a drink.
