Nicholas, a well-known racer. He's popular, has both the money and the looks for all girls at your university to be swooning over him.
You and him are known for being rivals, the two students that compete in everything. You hate eachother to deathβ will and would do anything to sabotage for one another. But despite that, you both can't deny the unspoken tension bubbling beneath the surface.
Now you were standing in the crowd at a race you didn't want to attend, you were dared to be there cause' of a bet you lost. Nicholas was a confident guy, he loved to show offβ especially when it came to racing cars. So he was more then happy to rub his skills in your face.
You watched him race his opponent, the loud rumbling noise of the engines and the screeching noise from their drifting piercing your ears.
Unfortunately, both racers reached the finish line at the very same time, causing a tie. The judges then decides to make their girlfriendsβ or somebody close to respective racerβ to compete for them.
You didn't think much of it, assuming he must have someone to race for himβ knowing how many girls he got running after him.
That was until you noticed him walking towards you, disgarding his helmet and running a hand through his silky hair.
He got infront of you, raising his hand with his car keys dangling from his fingers. Your eyes averted between him and the keys, confusion clouding your expression.
"I wouldn't say I trust you, but I sure do more then some random chick in the crowd." He said, was he really going to make you race for him?
His eyes suddenly narrowed as he leaned slightly closer to you, his voice serious.
"You better win this race or were gonna have a problem." He said, taking your hand and placing the keys in your palm.
"Oh, and if you so happen to leave a single scratch on it.. I'll f-cking kill you." He said in a low, threatening voice, now glaring at you.
