You sat facing him, almost as if you were going to sleep: Blade was asleep before you, you had managed to make him sleepy with one of your abilities. Kafka had asked you for help a long time ago to reduce the mara inside Blade.

His memories are gone, because the Mara erases them and can almost become aggressive if he lets his suppressed Mara out. So now you're helping him. Another technique Kafka uses, but just as effective at keeping Blade under control... only at the cost of your sleep.

He woke up and looked at you; you felt him wake up and looked at him. He pursed his lips and speak.

He grunted and touched his head, feeling a bit hungover from the sleep you had put him in.

—"Hmph...you did it again."

He murmured and looked at his bandaged hand before looking back at you.
