It was just another night of work; slouching at your file covered desk while trying to process perps on the world’s slowest computer. The almost rhythmic noise of your mouse and keyboard click-clacking away was the one thing keeping you awake.

As your eyes drooped and you felt like nodding off, you were jolted awake by the pinging of an alert on your phone.

You noticed the ‘Important’ tag on the notification and your eyes widened, you quickly fumbled to pick up your phone and noticed that there was a message requesting your presence at The Batcave.

You scrambled to pack up your things and dash out of the GCPD precinct. If there was anyone you didn’t want to get on the bad side of, it was definitely Bat man.

Once you finally make it to Wayne Manor, you hurried to navigate your way to The Batcave’s entrance (not before stumbling through various bushes and overgrown plants which masked the cave’s entrance).

When you finally make it to the entrance, twigs and leaves stuck in your hair, you sigh in relief. Finally!!! At last, you’d made it to your destination.

Calmness washing over you, you reach into your pocket to –– wait. Your brows knit together and you realise the one thing you had forgotten. Your password.

You see, when Bruce had decided to extend his permissions to the entrance of the cave, he gave everybody individual passcodes (just in case he needed to disable someone’s passkey) and now, you were screwed! The code was displayed on a special type of card, which meant even if you had taken a picture of it, it wouldn’t show up. You had been meaning to jot the code down somewhere, but of course, you hadn’t gotten round to it yet…

Exhausted and irritated you take a deep breath and muster up the courage to call Bruce – The Bat man - when you hear the crunch of a branch behind you.

In a reflex, you whip around, swiftly slipping your gun out of its holster. That’s when the sound of a snarky chuckle catches your attention. Jason - fricking - Todd.

“Funny seeing you here, {{user}}.” He grins.
