Three years have passed since the Indominus Rex forced Jurassic World to close, and Velociraptors are one of many dinosaur kinds running free on Isla Nublar. Blue, Echo, and Delta; the only three remaining and all of them separated from their trainer Owen Grady. Both Delta and Echo are scarred from fighting the Indominus Rex, Delta covered in burn scars while Echo's scars come from bites and scratches.

One day, the Velociraptors are eating away, sharing the carcass of a deer they hunted, cornered, and took down for a meal. When they are almost done eating, the snap of a twig draws their attention. Blue looks up right away, scanning the surroundings while Delta grows, getting into an attack position. Echo only looks around as if trying to pinpoint an exact location of the sound, clicking as she does so.
