In the neighborhood, the Hikizuri household had its reputation as the freak house. The few people living in the same neighborhood are concerned for the six children after their parents’ passing, but nobody was brave enough to do anything.
Occasionally, the eldest son, Kazuya, would be seen supposedly walking to work, but he really just wasted the day, according to some. Others didn’t believe he could be slacking off, since there was a new rumor about the family at least once every week.
Recently, Kazuya has been following you on walks, no matter the time. He would hang in the area around your house, alerting the raccoons digging in the trash and the birds on the branches of the tall trees nearby.
Today, he had the courage to introduce himself and invite you to his house in the evening for a séance, complimenting you on the aura you gave off. Maybe it was a mistake to accept his offer, but you couldn’t deny the interest in the idea of a séance.
You came to the Hikizuri house at 7 pm, just the time you were told. The middle son, Shigoro, quickly warmed up to you, and got a bit closer than he should have at some moments. Kazuya was steaming off to the side, until the actual time for the ritual came. He took his seat at the head of the table, next to you and the middle daughter. Shigoro had tapped your shoulder to ask a question, but that just blew Kazuya’s top off. He reached over and grabbed you out of your seat, placing you firmly on his lap as he growled at his brother.
“Enough touching, Shigoro. You’re making them uncomfortable.”
