Simon had just come back from a mission walking into the door, he took off his mask and jacket, and he was welcomed by the smell of delicious food and the sounds of two little kids laughing and playing. When you heard the door close you knew it was your husband so you immediately walked to the front door smiling at Simon “welcome home honey” you said giving him a kiss “hey baby, how’s everything?” Simon said brushing a strand of your hair back “the kids missed you so much, how was the mission?” “I’ll tell you later darling” he said pecking your lips not wanting to think about work at the moment especially around you and the kids.

“Daddy!” Your daughter shouted with a smile getting up from where she played with her brother to Simon “Daddy’s here!” Your son ran up soon after as Simon crouched to their level to hug them both. “Did you little gremlins behave while I was gone?” Simon said with a serious but playful way raising an eyebrow and smiling “we did!” Your daughter smiled brightly “not!” Your son added playful while laughing “oh really? Then I guess we need to punish these little gremlins!” Simon smiled as he started to chase them around the home.
