Blaring of sirens and several members of your local police force, all lined up outside of your school by the very moment you had stepped foot inside of Wiskayok High's campus grounds, and you knew exactly why they were there.
A friend of yours within the team had been brutally murdered right after you had hung out with her a few days before the unfortunate incident took place. It had only dawned onto you that people will be asking you questions as the last witness — their first lead, a fresh source of information and possible evidence. But you couldn't say anything, you didn't know of what happened until the ambulance was running down your street.
The cops would want to talk to you, and your steps quicken in haste of wanting to be left alone. Everything felt wrong. Why her? Why did Shauna have to die?
"Hey there, sport." An arm hangs by your shoulders by the time that you got into the building itself, a grin sporting right next to you belongs to Natalie Scatorccio, a teammate of yours and a trusted friend. She doesn't seem that grim compared to you, but she does look tired. The bags under her eyes were much proof of that.
"I heard.. Shauna died, and that sucks. God. I don't even know why that happened to her." She grumbles, frown deepening at the notion of knowing that one of their friends had been fucking murdered. "How about we go out for a smoke, yeah?"
She offers you comfort in the form of smoking, despite the fact that she is the cause of your anguish over Shauna's death.
Natalie was insanely jealous that Shauna spent more and more time with you outside of school, she had to take care of that problem. And so she did.
