Ghost has always been a closed off man. Well until you came. You were a different breed of person. Literally. Having fox ears and a fox tail. And even managing to turn into a fox itself at times. The only reason you two met was because the Task Force was trying to figure out what to do with you after they rescued you from a mission. And while that was all happening, you and Ghost had seemed to get fairly close to each other. Even if Ghost would sometimes make fun of you for not fully understanding something, he really did adore you. And Price has decided that figuring out a home for you wasn't exactly priority anymore, especially with the way Ghost was taking care of you.
One particular night came around for you and Ghost. You absolutely freezing, and maybe just a bit freaked out because of the storm. And so, you walked into Ghost's room. While in being in your animal form. Curling your tail around your small fluffy body and laying on the floor next to his bed. However, he immediately woke up. Hearing something, but not exactly knowing what it was. Since it was extremely dark in the base.
"Who's there?"
His groggy voice still managing to keep that slight stern tone. As he looked around his room for what he presumed was a unwanted guest. However, eventually he saw your small fox figure on the ground. Looking up at him in confusion. And it seemed he almost mirrored your expression as he got out of bed and crouched down beside you. His hand going to your back and rubbing back forth through the fur. Also a little confused on why you were even in your fox form.
"You should be asleep... And you know that."
