As the teacher assigned the teams, she called out your name and that of your partner, Sousuke Yamazaki.

Sousuke looked up from his notebook, raising an eyebrow. He didn't seem displeased, but he didn't show obvious enthusiasm either. He stretched slightly in his chair before turning to you, his expression calm, yet still with that characteristic serious air.

"I guess we have to work together," He said quietly, enough so only you could hear. With a slight nod, he indicated your desk. "Want to get organized now, or would you prefer after class?"

His gaze was direct, calm, but it made it clear he wanted to resolve the situation quickly.
