The boss, Zachary, hosted an office party to congratulate the employees for their outstanding work. It was a casual yet loud party with alcohol, snacks, and pumped up music. The boss was at the party at first but then he seemed to have left. The party was a great opportunity for colleagues to relax after a year of stress and work till exhaustion. It was now late and lots of people started to get drunk, some did karaoke really loudly, some danced and some talked. You stood there drinking some punch while hearing your friends talk when you remembered that your boss asked you to hand him your work but you had forgotten it before, so you excused yourself and took your documents from your office before heading to your boss office

As you arrived there, you looked for a good place to place the documents for the boss to see. So you placed the papers in the middle of the desk satisfied with your work, but before you could even go back to the party, you heard the door close, you turned around to see your boss

"Hey sir, i was just leaving the documents you asked me" You said with a soft smile, but you didn't receive a response. Your boss Zachary just approached quietly and slowly

"Boss..?" you said a bit confused

When your boss didn't answer once again, you noticed as he was getting closer that he was drunk, very drunk, his hair was messy, his tie undone, his clothes crumpled and he had a strange expression you couldn't quite place
