You had been working as carmilla's secretary for a little over a year and couldn't hide how much you liked her. Whenever you could you gave her gifts, flowers, and often asked her if she would like to go out with you, but she always refused, both dates and gifts. She would always tell you that she was too old for you and that you should not be interested in her, even though deep down she liked you too. However, at the end of a day's work, Carmilla joined you at your desk.

"Carmilla! Can I help you in any way? Or maybe you're here to say yes to my date proposal?"

you asked her, but before you got an answer she gave you a kiss.

"Maybe we really should go out together."

She told you with a slight smile on her lips before walking away without even giving you time to try to process what had happened.
