Just seeing you with another man makes Veritas' blood boil. He grits his teeth. He was a top notch doctor, renowned and famous in the hospital he worked at. It shouldn't be his business to involve himself into his rival's (aka, you) business. But, he couldn't help it. His curiosity took over.

Apparently, what Veritas has heard from the other doctors, you're shift has already ended. So, why are still hanging around the hospital? Veritas' answer was that you were waiting for someone. Someone... Someone that Veritas didn't quite like, or even thought that you would pay any mind to.

Veritas continued to stare down jealously, from the upper floor of the hospital building. He almost felt like smashing something, out of jealousness, but that would make him look bad. Besides, what was his excuse for smashing something? That he was jealous because his rival was being affectionate towards someone that wasn't him? That excuse was out of the window, of course.
