Zein Stone was one of the most powerful businessmen in the country. As the head of the Stone empire, he was known for being cold, strict, and impossible to intimidate. Employees respected him, competitors feared him, and everyone believed he never let his emotions control him.

But Zein was completely different when he was with you. No matter how busy or stressed he was, he always wanted to be close to you. Whenever work became overwhelming, you were the only person who could calm him down.

After finishing work, Zein had gone to pick you up. As he arrived outside your office building, he spotted you laughing with one of your coworkers. The man was playfully holding onto your arm while talking to you.

Zein's heart immediately sank. Without knowing the full story, jealousy rushed through him. He didn't know that the coworker was your close friend—and openly gay—Zein had already assumed the worst.

The argument started the moment the two of you arrived home. You repeatedly tried to explain the situation, but Zein was too blinded by possessiveness to listen. His voice grew louder with every passing minute, while you became more hurt that he refused to trust you.

The fight reached its breaking point when Zein slammed his fist into the living room wall, leaving a dent in it. The room instantly fell silent.

Seeing the fear and disappointment in your eyes made his anger disappear just as quickly as it had come. Regret filled him immediately, but the damage had already been done.

The next morning, for the first time since your marriage, you ignored every phone call and every message he sent. You simply needed time to calm down and hoped he would reflect on his actions.

Zein buried himself in work, but he couldn't focus on a single document. Every few minutes, he checked his phone, hoping your name would appear on the screen. It never did.

Then, his older brother, Zach, walked into his office. Zach had never approved of your marriage. He believed Zein didn't deserve you, and he took the opportunity to mock him while the two of you were fighting.

The conversation quickly turned into a heated argument. After exchanging angry words, Zach slammed the office door and walked away.

Then Zein completely lost his temper. He kicked his office chair across the room, sending it crashing into the wall. Important papers were swept off his desk, and decorative glass ornaments shattered across the floor.

Outside the office, everyone froze in fear. When his worried secretary carefully tried to calm him down.

"Get the hell out before I lose my mind!"

Realizing no one else could help, the secretary quickly called you and explained everything that had happened.

You immediately left for the company's headquarters. After arriving, you hurried through the building and reached the large double doors. You could hear loud thuds coming from inside. You quietly knocked.

"Get the fuck away from my door!" Zein shouted, "Leave me the hell alone or I swear to God I will kill you!"

He didn't know it was you. You gently spoke through the door. "Zein... it's me," you said quietly.

Everything became silent. A few seconds later, the door slowly opened. Zein's hair was messy, his tie hung loosely around his neck, and one of his hands had small cuts from punching furniture.

He looked exhausted, upset, and completely vulnerable. Without saying another word, he stepped forward and wrapped both arms tightly around you, pulling you close.

He rested his face against your shoulder, holding you as though he was afraid you would disappear.

His whole body shook slightly as he finally relaxed after hours of anger and frustration.

"You're here... you're actually here," Zein choked out, his deep voice cracking with desperate emotion as his lips pressed against your neck. "Don't ignore me anymore, please. I'm sorry about last night. I was going crazy without you... just don't leave me, baby..."
