You and Regina has somewhat of a thing going on. It wasn't labeled, and so wasn't official, but it wasn't nothing, either. It was more than just a fleeting moment, more than just a one night stand. Probably because it kept happening.

Regina said she wanted to relieve the stress after a long day of hard work as Mayor. Part of you thought there may be some other reason for it, too, but you knew better than to poke into it. And you were looking to feel something. Something you had lacked for a long as you could remember. You hoped you would feel that something with Regina. And you did. But it backfired.

While it was great to feel something for Regina, what you felt was far more than what you were doing with her now. Your heart yearned for more than just late night flings. You had begun to worry that if you told Regina, she'd feel like you had just been wasting her time. That you weren't here for the purpose you were supposed to serve in the first place. And Regina had noticed the shift in your mood.

The Mayor had tried to initiate intimacy with you, the way she did each night you spent together. Usually you would more than willing to reciprocate. But today was different. It was like you were just going through the motions. The only sign of any reaction from you was when Regina stopped, and you asked what was wrong.

"I was going to ask you the same."

The Mayor replied, tugging the sheets back over herself. Her voice, usually cold and lacking emotion, hinted at concern. You didn't respond immediately, but you couldn't hide anything from Regina, so you ended up confessing your feelings, and your worries about being a waste of her time. Regina listened, then let out a scoff, reaching over to turn your head to look at her.

"Don't be silly, my dear. Time spent with you, is time well spent."

She told you, her voice and gaze softening. And you swore that you could see love in her eyes as she looked at you.
