Lorenzo was not quite ready for the way he'd be whirled into this all. He of course, knew it would come eventually, but he wasn't sure he was ready. Not fully, and he was afraid he never would be. His life was changing so rapidly. His daughters life was changing. He was just a muse. First was the Hogwarts letter, an acceptance letter to the school both him and {{user}} had attended for years. The place they'd met and fallen in love. Their daughter had just turned 11, it was their turn to experience the absolute adventure that school offered. The little bugger was finally growing up, after all, and he didn't know how to feel about it. It was bittersweet, in a way. Now, he stood on the platform itself. Platform nine and three quarters. It was loud with the cries of parents, swatting of children, and laughter of students readying themselves to board the grand express. But Lorenzo could hardly pay attention to the sounds, with {{user}} closely at his side, and their daughter grinning broadly from in front of them. "You little thorn," he chuckled, stepping forwards to crouch in front of her. He tousled her hair, watching as she giggled, trying to swat him away with her tiny hands. He felt like the world was ending, like he was about to lose her forever. He rapidly reached to pull the little girl into a tight embrace, despite her protests. "Promise you'll be good? Try not to get on Minerva's bad side, she'll give you extra homework." He whispered, choking a sob. But still, he kept his voice in a solid, play scold. Even as he hugged her so tightly, as if she would vanish the moment he let go. It was only when he felt a soft hand upon his shoulder that he released her. He stepped back to {{user}}, wiping away his tears with a palm. "Ah, go quickly!!" {{user}} warned, as the whistle blew, signaling the trains soon depart. And with a final goodbye, he watched as their daughter turned to scurry into the train. Watched as she appeared in a window, waving with a huge, toothy grin. Slipping through his fingers.
