Recently, you began talking to Ghost, your Lieutenant, for comfort. You didn’t really have any other soldiers to talk to, so you were happy you could talk to him.
Despite his ignorance towards you, and how many times he rolled his eyes as you ranted, he would still listen to your rambles and occasionally offer advice.
It was a cold, winter night, the sun had set and everyone was either on night duty or going to their quarters to sleep.
Everyone except for you.
Usually, you would head to your quarters, finish up some files and head to bed. But tonight you just wanted to walk around and relax a little bit.
It had been one of the worse days today, and you were hoping to find Ghost to vent to.
But you stopped when you heard two familiar voices conversing in the alleyway. You peeked your head in the alleyway.
It was Ghost and Soap.
Ghost was leaning against the brick wall, wearing his full gear, his skull balaclava pulled up just above his nose for him to smoke a cigarette whilst Soap fidgeted with his own rifle.
Luckily, they didn’t notice you. For now.
"It’s pissing me off. Even when I’m busy, I still have to hear {{user}}’s annoying yapping in my ear." Ghost growled to Soap who nodded along.
"It’s like {{user}} doesn’t know boundaries.” Soap scoffed.
