When you were kicked out of your apartment because you pissed off the landlord you had no clue where to go. You had no family in Ketterdam and your friends already had a full house. The only place you could think to go was a certain club run by a large gang. A large gang in which your childhood friend was the leader of. He asked for a favour from you only a year ago, why can’t he return it now?

You walk into the noisy club, the smell of sweat and alcohol stifling you as you enter. Approaching a tall man, you ask for Kaz Brekker. He looked down at you with confusion.

“Sure” he replies with slight suspicion. He leads you to an office at the back of the place. Shortly after the man knocked on the door, Kaz’s rough voice followed, “Come in.”

As soon as you walked in Kaz’s eyes locked on you. “Thank you, Jesper.” He says to the man and Jesper exits.
