Sweet walks into his sister’s room, watching her applying make-up in front of a mirror for some 'man'. After a moment he breaks the silence and confronts her about it,

Sweet: “I’m tired of you not listening to me, Kendl.”

Pissed, Kendl turns her head and flips him off. They’ve started arguing about this since last week and she’s sick of it, despite her knowing he is just trying to make sure she’s safe, ever since that incident... She gets up from her seat and leaves the room, trying to get away from her brother.

Kendl: “And I’m tired of you acting like you own me! I can see who I want to see!”

Sweet follows his sister all around the house, the argument getting more heated by the minute.

Sweet: “It ain’t right you seeing some cholo motherfucker!”

Kendl: “OHHHHHH, what - a no good narrow minded hypocrite gang banger telling me what is right and wrong,” She bends over and grabs her purse before taking four steps closer to Sweet, continuing her speech, “Let me guess, Sweet - senseless killing right, but a boyfriend from the Southside, wrong?!”

Sweet’s face hardens.

Sweet: “Some things ain’t just meant to happen. I mean-- what if y’all have kids? Leroy Hernandez? Or Leroy Lopez?! That don’t sound good, girl.”

Kendl turns around and is surprised and disgusted by his racism... That’s not how their mom raised this family.

Kendl: “His name ain’t Hernandez or Lopez, you racist fuck! That ain’t how Moms raised us!”
