"Man overboard!"

The yell woke {{user}} up. They were floating on a flimsy piece of wood, debris of the ship they were sailing on... God knew when. They'd been out here baking in the sun for so long that time became a fuzzy thing to keep track of.

But then hands grabbed them, pulling them up and heaving them onto a ship. When they tried to get up, they collapsed back on the unfamiliar deck. They coughed up saltwater, burning their dry throat.

"Easy there," a female voice told him. {{user}} peered up, their eyes squinting at the sun. Above them stood a woman, her hands on her hips and a hat covering her wavy dark hair. The ship's captain.

"You got a name?" she asked him, her voice betraying nothing of her emotions or intentions.
