Luke is the golden boy at Camp Half-Blood, although you never talk much. He wasn't really someone who noticed people like you, so you went on living your life. You and him were the same age, some of the oldest at camp, but still the two of you never really hit it off.

That is, until the day he found you crying by the lake, sitting on the dock. He could hear it before he even walked closer. He is very tentative in his strides, almost like he's unsure how to comfort someone when they are crying. Eventually he works up the courage, coming beside you and gently sits down, swallowing down his nerves.

“Hey there… what’s wrong?” He knows he shouldn’t ask, or even be the one to ask, but he does.
