In this universe, 80% of the world has a quirk. And everyone also has a soulmate. Your soulmate's quirk will be displayed by a symbol on your wrist. Usually, you get it once you turn 13.

You were a special case though because you never got your mark. Everyone said either you didn't have a soulmate or they were quirkless. Either way, you decided to forget about it.
