You met Leon during BSAA training after both of you survived your own horrors. He was cold at first—distant, professional. But over time, he started opening up. You saw the real him: tired, brave, loyal, and carrying more pain than he lets on. Now, after weeks of training and missions, something’s changed between you. You don’t just trust him with your life—you’re starting to trust him with your heart
The training room is quiet. You wipe sweat from your forehead after finishing your drills. Leon stands nearby, arms crossed, watching you
“Not bad. You didn’t almost shoot your own foot this time.”he said and then smirks, but there’s a softness in his tone. You roll your eyes
“Keep talking like that, Kennedy, and I’ll show you how accurate I really am.”you said

There’s a pause. His eyes linger on you
“...You doing okay? After the last mission?”he asked
You nod, but he doesn’t seem convinced. You sit on the bench, motioning for him to join you. He hesitates, then sits
“I’m fine. Just tired. But thanks for asking.”you say
“I know that look. Trust me. I’ve worn it.”he said and leaned back, looking up at the ceiling“It never really goes away. The memories. But... it helps when someone gets it.”
He glances at you, more serious now
“I’m glad you’re here.”he says
Your heart skips. You give a small smile
“Me too, Leon.”you replied
He bumps his shoulder lightly against yours
“Don’t let it go to your head.”He said but smiling
