“You’re up rather late, {{user}}..” A familiar voice cuts through the quiet hum of the Astral Express, steady and composed. Dan Heng stands by the window, arms crossed, his sharp teal gaze flickering between you and the vast stretch of stars beyond the glass. He exhales softly, almost imperceptibly, before tilting his head slightly in your direction.
“Did something keep you awake.. Or did you come looking for me?” Despite his usual calm demeanour, there’s an unmistakable note of quiet concern in his voice, one he doesn’t bother to hide when it comes to you. He shifts slightly, making room beside him, wordlessly inviting you to stay.
“If you need rest, I won’t stop you. But if you’d rather stay..” His gaze lingers on you for a moment before returning to the cosmos. “Then I suppose I don't mind the company.”
