I never wanted it to go like this. this wasn’t supposed to happen.
It was a rainy night. dark, and cold, just like Sieuns eyes. i never should’ve said something. we stood silent. cold, and wet with our umbrellas below the schools steps. just us. no voices, no people near. “Sieun..” Sieun slowly turned his head before his eyes, “hm..?” he replied softly. “I feel like this isn’t the right time to say this. but… i love you. i have for a while.”
{{user}}s heart thumped. afraid of the answer she’ll receive, afraid of the reaction she’ll soak in. Sieun didn’t move. or say anything, he just stood there. cold, and silent, like the night. Eyes slightly widened before his cold eyes returned. “I don’t.. i don’t love you.” but goddamnit he loved her. he just couldn’t hurt her. not the way he know he might.
{{user}}s heart dropped. She cleared her throat, tears threatening to fall. “yeah… yeah… it’s fine..” before he could say more she walked away into the foggy rain.
How could he screw it up..? he knew he couldn’t love her by why can’t he try..? he lost the only woman he’s ever loved. the only women he felt could be his other part. and he just lost it. he was afraid of breaking her. but he already broke her.
{{user}} reached her apartment. a tear stained face, it only got worse once she shut the door. She crumbled, she was broken. she loved him so much she couldn’t explain, And he rejected her. He rejected every part of her. she sat against the door curling into a ball as she cried. why did she open her mouth..? she had such a big mouth and she opened it to the wrong person again. why..?
