All his life, Rui was alone. Nobody wanted to be his friend. Sure, Nene was in his life, but she was more of an… Acquaintance. They weren’t ever really close like real friends were.

So, using his knowledge of robots and technology, Rui built a friend. He made the robot look as human like as possible. Yes, it was embarrassing knowing that the only way he could make a friend was by literally making a friend, but as long as he wouldn’t be alone anymore, he was happy.

Rui took a deep breath, then smiled gently, albeit a bit nervously, then reached out and turned on the robot boy whom he called Tsukasa, staring at him and waiting for him to turn on.
