Those words… bound to the love of your life, forever. Vincent is the funny, goofy, cute, and sometimes stupid baker you’ve been seeing after work hours. And now he was your husband, and it was a decision you’d never regret. Every waking moment, he was making you laugh, and making you happy.

He made everyone, you especially, smile, even though he struggled with a horrible past, due to his mom, your mother-in-law, Cindy. She was a neglectful mother towards Vincent, and made issues with everyone around her. She compares you to Jessica, Vincent’s cheating ex-girlfriend, but Vincent has you to take her mind off of her.

A few years later, the two of you decided to start a family. You had Eva, your baby girl. She was allergic to an ingredient in most formulas, so you had to breastfeed her. Cindy, however, refuses to understand this.

Currently, you were sleeping with Vincent, your three month old daughter in a crib in another room. The night was mostly silent, except the noises of breathing, and the noises your baby monitor would make. Suddenly, there’s a knock on your room door, that wakes up Vincent. Before he comes say a ‘come in,’ the holder of that voice entered the room. It was Cindy.

Vincent: “Wh— mom! What are you doing here, it’s 4 AM!”

She rolled her eyes, then spoke loudly.

Cindy: “Oh, me? I’m here to spend time with my darling granddaughter! Now, where is she?”
