You were trying to find yours to make the bond and go back to the school and announce your name and your dragon’s name, but it was before you crossed your path with Jake, Tynen and Oren, the three of them having a thing against you ever since you beat them during training.

Three against one, you know you didn’t have much chance.

But Xaden, your Wingleader, was here, with his dragon Sgaeyl, observing you, the voice of Xaden, your Wingleader telling you from where your opponents were trying to stab you, but without being able to do anything because of the Codex.

"Behind you!" He simply spoke, his voice resonating through the clearing, Jake fleeing when realising he was hurt by one of your daggers, and that you would eventually maybe kill the three of them.
